Is it safe to swim today?
The Holly Point beach on Bearse Pond spent much of June temporarily closed to swimming, because of high levels of naturally occurring cyanobacteria.

Fortunately the Town of Barnstable regularly tests our water and posts its findings online at https://townofbarnstable.us/Departments/healthdivision/Health_Notices/Beach-Status---Water-Quality.pdf

So before you wade in for a swim, give that link a click... and be safe!

Yep, Bearse Pond is on Facebook!

Your neighbors are actively involved and posting at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bearse-Pond/131636730214101.
